Money can be deposited / withdrawn into an account as per the wish of the account holder. Savings Bank accounts are opened to encourage savings for members of MAHA Mutually Aided Co-operative Credit Society Limited.

- Any member can open a savings bank account singly or jointly with any other member (Membership Fee: ₹50).
- Joint account operations supported: Jointly / Either or Survivor / Former or Survivor / Later or Survivor / Any one or survivor.
- Passbook facility / account statement.
- Nomination facility available.
Balance & documentation
- Minimum balance: ₹250.
- Initial deposit amount: ₹250.
- TDS not applicable.
- Aadhar/PAN copy / Form 60 / Form 15G / Form 15H will be obtained (as applicable).
